Danish Keyboard
About Danish Typing
Danish uses three special letters that aren't found on standard English keyboards. This tool makes it easy to type in Danish with all the proper characters.
The three special Danish letters are:
- Æ/æ - pronounced like the 'a' in "cat"
- Ø/ø - pronounced like the 'i' in "bird"
- Å/å - pronounced like the 'o' in "more"
These letters are considered separate letters in the Danish alphabet, not just accented versions of a, o, etc. Simply click on the character you need to insert it into your text. You can then copy and paste your text into any application that supports Unicode text.
